HI:)) I'm Thu-Yên, you can also call me Erin.
I was born and raised in Hanoi, Vietnam, in a family of architects.
Art for me began when I was four; drawing on my dad’s blueprints and playing instruments. I knew I wanted to have a career creating something, and with the desire to solve problems. And this curiorsity first brought me to graphic design. That’s where I learn to think through people, stories, and experiences.
Over time, I became just as interested in everything surrounding the creative work: the decisions behind a product, how teams bring ideas to life, how people experience brands, and what makes something succeed beyond looking good. That is why I decided to return to school, to Penn State and pursue an MBA degree to build that business side of thinking and a stronger understanding of how ideas move from concept to execution through data-driven decisions.
Today, I’m especially drawn to work involving products, projects, operations, people, and experiences. I enjoy learning how things work, asking questions, connecting ideas across disciplines, and finding thoughtful ways to make them better.
>> Some other things about me
INFP, Gryffindor, Hanoi raised, Multicultural at heart, Tech curious, Food enthusiast, Casual swimmer, LEGO builder, Coffee lover, Sustainability
